Space Week 1
11 November 2024
Finding space in our bodies and breath.
The practice is mainly floor based, with our standing section focussing on an open heart centre. We directed our breath into the abdominal area and we will continue with this. Abdominal breathing is very calming, grounding and centring, whilst also helping to keep our lungs strong, making the most of our breathing capacity. Why not continue to focus on your abdominal breath when you can?
Including a minute's silence at the end of the class for Armistice Day in the shorter practice.

A gentle approach this week, keeping our focus on the heart space and encouraging those qualities of acceptance, graciousness, love and joy to ourselves. Allowing ourselves the space to feel nurtured by these qualities.
