Yoga for Fatigue, Stress and Burnout

Keep a look out for 2023 dates.

Fatigue, Stress and Burnout are states that are intrinsically linked via the nervous and immune systems, which can be affected from the stress and high expectations of modern living.  Additionally, the recent pandemic has exasperated many conditions and has left others with the effects of long covid, post-viral fatigue.

Having suffered myself with post viral fatigue and the effects of stress and burnout, I have been keen to do additional training in delivering an efficient programme to support other sufferers.  I have developed this course of sessions to utilise Yoga and Meditation as an antidote to fatigue, stress and burnout, and offer support through practices that can be taken away and used not only on the mat but in everyday life.

The course is 6 weeks long over 8 weeks, in two blocks of 3.  This allows for home practise to build on skills learnt, and to offer time for other activities.  All sessions are recorded and a link can be provided if a session is missed.  Learning is supported through handouts and audio meditations & relaxations.   Sessions will include gentle asana (postures), breathwork, meditations, relaxation and connecting to our natural energy source amongst other skills.

This course is suitable for beginners to Yoga, those with experience but have not practised for some time and those with a regular practice.  All that is needed is a quiet space, a device such as a tablet or laptop, a yoga mat, blankets, pillows, cushions and loose comfortable clothing.  The space used for practice should be soothing and quiet, and others that you share your living space with should be asked to respect your time.

The dates are all Saturday mornings from 10am to 11.15am.

Please contact me to register your interest or to find out more.

I am very excited to be offering this course and I look forward sharing your progress.

 Yours in Yoga,
